Lily Stanley, former student

"Victoria Buck is one of the most kind, welcoming, and encouraging people I know. She shows so much passion for the arts and the people in it. If I asked her for help, whether it is for the show we are working on, finding new repertoire, or writing me a college recommendation letter, she would always get it done quickly despite how busy she is. She is so dedicated and is inspiration to me and every student she encounters!"

Layla Diaz, former student

"Mrs. Buck is the easiest person in the world to work with. Her method of directing is collaborative and conversational rather than rigid or commanding, and she ensures that everyone within the company is listened to and provided for. She always makes the cast feel welcome and excited to be there, eager to work. If anyone knows hard work and dedication, it's Mrs. Buck. She has gone against the tides to make sure everything is nothing short of fantastic from production to production. She goes above and beyond all standards when it comes to direction and teaching, especially when it came to managing three schools all at once. Anyone who happens to get the chance to work with her is very lucky."

"I have had the privilege of working closely with Victoria on many projects over the years, and I can say without hesitation that she is one of the most talented, reliable, and inspiring educators  I have ever worked with."

Matt Shields, Mill Mountain Theatre

professionalism, leadership, and a strong commitment to student success...successfully managed the responsibilities of curriculum development, student

performance preparation, program coordination, and collaboration with staff, students, and families...created a classroom environment that encouraged creativity, accountability, and student

growth...built strong relationships with students while maintaining high expectations for both

academic and performance excellence...engaged students of varying experience levels

helped students gain confidence, improve their performance skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for the performing arts. Beyond her professional abilities, Victoria is dependable, collaborative, and highly respected by both students and colleagues.
